Reading2Connect Dementia-Friendly Community Programs

Beyond our standard clinical programs, Reading2Connect
equips community organizations (eg, worship spaces, libraries, historical sites, botanical gardens, museums, hospital volunteer depts) with the skills and tools to become more inclusive and accessible to older adults. 
 
With the Reading2Connect training, employees, volunteers, & care partners learn to apply "Montessori Aging & Dementia" principles and to use dementia communication strategies.

Community organizations also receive age/dementia friendly books specifically designed for each community, reflecting the unique qualities and treasures of that cultural space.
